1. WORK SATISFACTION
The Need For Individual Work Satisfaction: During a one-day “Expanding Your Work Satisfaction and Effectiveness” workshop, participants:
1) engage in a series of reflective activities;
2) rate their current level of work satisfaction;
3) develop a practical work satisfaction/work effectiveness solution; and
4) prepare to present, discuss, and implement their ideas with the input, support, and approval of their supervisor.

The Need For Life/Work Balance: In the same workshop, acknowledging that life is more than work, participants assess their life/work balance needs and craft an action plan for taking better care of their health, strengthening personal relationships, and making the most of their leisure time.

The Need For Employee-Supervisor Communication: In a follow-up “Taking Time to Talk” workshop, supervisors prepare to listen, discuss, and respond to each employee’s work satisfaction and effectiveness suggestions in ways that promote mutual trust and support.

Measurable Results: Two months following their individual discussion with their supervisor, participants rate changes in their work satisfaction and describe improvements in their work effectiveness. Our team then prepares and presents a summary report of findings to client leaders, managers, and supervisors.

Client Testimonials

“We did have some remarkable successes.”

One front line employee had been a problem for years. Although the quality of her work was excellent, her productivity was very low, her morale was bad, and she had a negative influence on other staff. Her supervisor was stunned. Together, they developed a joint plan that allowed this employee to develop into a real asset to our organization. She remains an excellent employee and is very productive.
